Logging In to BCIT Tools and Systems (Faculty & Staff)

You need your BCIT login credentials – primary BCIT email address and password – to log in to most BCIT systems, though there are rare exceptions. Use this quick reference to keep track of how to log in to BCIT systems.

Note: This article is for BCIT employees. If you are a BCIT student, please see the student login article.

  1. At the computer, press any key to display the network login box.
  2. Click OK to accept the user policy.
  3. Login.

  1. In a web browser go to cognos.bcit.ca
  2. Log in.

  1. In a web browser, go to my.bcit.ca and log in.
  2. Click on the Online Self Service link.
  3. Click the Faculty Self Service link to see the Grades menu.

Service BCIT From anywhere:

  1. Go to Service BCIT.
  2. Enter your login credentials to connect. If you are already logged in to a Microsoft product or service, you will be logged in automatically.

Teams
To login to Teams in a web browser:

  1. Visit teams.bcit.ca
  2. Log in with your credentials.

Voicemail To access voicemail in Teams via a web browser or app:

  1. Open your Teams application or through a web browser.
  2. Log in with your credentials to connect.

  1. Ensure the Teams app is installed on your device.
  2. Open the app and log in with your credentials to connect.

  To access voicemail in Teams via a BCIT physical phone:

  1. Ensure that your Teams account is paired to your BCIT phone.

Note: Only approved users will have a physical phone.

Wireless at BCIT (BCIT Wifi)
From any on-campus location with wireless coverage:

  1. Select BCIT_Secure from the list of available wireless networks.
  2. Enter your login credentials to connect.

Note: If you had connected previous to the July 5, 2021 login change, “forget” the BCIT_Secure network first before reconnecting with your current credentials.
