Login change, July 5, 2021

BCIT has changed the way you login to BCIT systems. This change will enable BCIT to access new cloud-based software in the future.

Starting July 5, 2021, use your primary BCIT email address (@my.bcit.ca for students and @bcit.ca for faculty and staff) instead of your BCIT ID to login to most systems. Your password will not have changed.

About the Technology Service Desk

The Technology Service Desk is a collaboration of several support teams within BCIT. Our goal is to make it easier to access the technology support resources you need through a single phone number, email, and web site.

To access further support, there are several options:

  • Use the IT Service Catalogue┬áto submit a request for assistance through online forms.
  • Chat with us at chat.bcit.ca
  • Call 604-412-7444 (option #1 for general IT help, option #2 for The Learning Hub support, option #3 for audio-visual support)
  • Send an email to techhelp@bcit.ca, making sure to include your BCIT ID (A0…) in your request

Hours of operation vary throughout the year and between support teams.
