Changing Your Faculty and Staff BCIT Password in myBCIT

When your BCIT identity is initially created, your default BCIT password is set to either your date of birth (in the format YYMMDD) or to the last six digits of your BCIT ID (as shown on your BCIT ID card). It is easy for another person to discover your date of birth or BCIT ID, so you must change your password as soon as possible to something secret and only known by you.

Did you know?

Per BCIT policy, BCIT passwords must not be the same as any non-BCIT accounts or services, such as personal ISP accounts, free online email accounts, instant messaging accounts, or other online services.
