Using WordPress, you can log in and update your pages on BCIT’s website anytime, anywhere, using a web browser and an Internet connection.
Note: If you have not attended a WordPress training session, you will not have a WordPress account. To get access, register for an upcoming session listed in the PD registration system under the “Computer Skills” category. There are two options: WordPress Editor Training – General and WordPress Editor Training – Schools. If no sessions are listed there, visit the WordPress Training section of the IT Service Catalogue to request training.
VPN required for remote work
If you are connecting to WordPress from off campus, you’ll need to do so through one of BCIT’s VPNs (myVPN or AccessAnywhere). You don’t need to connect through VPN if you are located on campus.
Logging in to WordPress
In any modern web browser:
- Go to the WordPress login page.
- Sign in using your usual BCIT credentials.
Email address changes
If your email address changes, you may find that you are unable to login to WordPress. If that occurs, please submit a request for assistance.
