Printing your BCIT T4/T4A Electronic Tax Forms

A T4 slip shows the income you earned when you worked for an employer. A T4A, on the other hand, is a record of your earnings from being self-employed.

This article describes the steps to take for printing your T4/T4A.

In your browser:

  1. Go to my.bcit.ca and login with your usual BCIT credentials.
  2. At the Online Self Service area, under the Employee Self Service section, click Employee Dashboard. Screenshot myBCIT Online Self Service Employee Dashboard
  3. In your Employee Dashboard, click Taxes.Screenshot myBCIT Employee Dashboard and Taxes link
  4. A panel will open below. Click on Slips for Income Tax Return.Screenshot myBCIT Online Self Service Taxes Slips for Income Tax Return link
NOTE: You may be redirected to login again as the Tax information has yet to be moved into the newest version of Self Service. If this happens, please login again with your usual BCIT credentials. Eventually this extra login request will not occur in the future.

FYI: Employee Self-Service is connected to various modules in Banner and other systems within BCIT that integrate our data. Our project teams are working to modernize our systems, which means using a phased approach to ensure our data remains accurate, secure, and aligns with our technology roadmap.
  5. Select Tax Year and click on your T4 or T4A slip.Screenshot myBCIT Online Self Service Slips for Income Tax Return T4 or T4A
  6. Click Printable Version.
  7. A PDF of your electronic tax form will open. Click on the printer icon, and adjust your settings to your preferred options to print.
