Steps in the process to get VMware products
- Request a subscription
- BCIT adds the subscription to your email address
- VMware sends an email that the account is ready
- User completes registration for subscription
- Subscription is assigned
- User requests product keys through the VMAP portal
- User downloads product installers through the VMAP portal
- User installs products
- User installs product keys

Important note:
Check your Spam/Junk Mail folder for the invitation email from VMWare if you do not see it in your inbox within 48 hours.
VMWare uses a mass mailer to send their notifications and bulk emails frequently get caught in these filters. This is the #1 reason students and staff are delayed in accessing their VMWare subscription.
