Staff Laptop models and generations

BCIT has several different generations of laptops currently in circulation. Each model has a different hardware specification and replacement cycle. Some models are still in their replacement cycle but not yet eligible; some models are no longer a part of the replacement cycle and no longer eligible for replacement. Previous Generations of Laptops

The following laptops are models that are still in their replacement cycle, which means they are not yet eligible for replacement. Once they become eligible, users of these laptops will  be notified.

Previous Generations of Laptops – not eligible for replacment

The following laptops are models that are no longer eligible for replacement. Their replacement window has passed and they are no longer a part of the replacement program.

Previous Generation of Docking Stations (No longer Purchasable)

The following docking stations were previously offered by IT Services for purchase to use with the previous generation of laptops listed above.

While these docking stations maybe still be actively used across campus they are either no longer order-able, purchased or stocked by ITS.
