Accessing the Bluebeam Academic Program

1. In your web browser go to www.bluebeam.com/community/academic/
2. Click Request a Free Subscription.
3. From the SERVER REGION drop down menu select United States, then Continue as Student.

4. Fill out your academic details on the Student Application page. Be sure to specify Canada as the country, and School as British Columbia Institute of Technology, Burnaby, BC.
   • Note: The email address you provide here will be your BlueBeam ID account name.
5. Click Verify My Student Access to continue.
6. On the next page click Sign into my academic institution.

7. You will be redirected to BCIT’s login page. Login with your BCIT username and password

8. Once you’ve logged in, you will be directed back to the Bluebeam student application page and see a “Success!” message:

After requesting a free Bluebeam Academic Subscription, you will need to create your Bluebeam ID.

1. Check your inbox for an email titled “Create your Bluebeam ID” and follow the Create BBID link.
2. Fill in your account details and click Create Account.
   • Note: Your Bluebeam ID will be the email address you used on the application form.
3. Look for another email from Bluebeam titled “Confirm your Bluebeam ID” and follow the link to verify your email address.
4. Now that you have successfully applied to the Bluebeam Academic Program and your Bluebeam ID has been created, you can use your Bluebeam ID to login to Bluebeam Revu.

Bluebeam Revu is available in the computer labs through AppsAnywhere. If you want to install it on your personal device, see Bluebeam’s Revu Installation Guide for instructions on downloading and installing Bluebeam Revu.

When Bluebeam Revu launches, you will be prompted to login with your Bluebeam ID. Use the account that you created in the previous steps:
