Deleting and Restoring Files With the OneDrive Recycle Bin

In your browser:

1. Go to onedrive.bcit.ca and, if necessary, log in with your usual BCIT login credentials (email address and password).
2. Click on Recycle bin in the menu beneath your name on the left side of the screen.
   

From here you can restore a previously deleted file if it was deleted in error, or you can choose to delete a specific file or files or empty your first stage recycle bin, which will send the files to the second stage recycle bin.

To access the second stage recycle bin, click on the Second-stage recycle bin link at the bottom of the list.

In your mobile app:

1. Tap your initials at the top left of the screen.
   
2. Tap on Recycle bin in the menu that appears.
   

From here you can tap on the ellipsis next to the filename to restore a previously deleted file if it was deleted in error or to delete a file (send it to the second-stage recycle bin, accessible only via OneDrive Online).
