Accessing Wireless Pay Printing with Mobility Print for Windows

IT Services is not able to support troubleshooting of personal devices. The Mobility Print app is provided by a third party and may not support all versions of Windows. These instructions and screenshots may differ from previous, future and manufacturer region specific versions of Windows.

All of our pay printers are capable of colour and double-sided printing. When you print you can specify single or double-sided (Duplex) and black & white or colour output from within the printer properties.

BCIT Students are able to connect and print to the BCIT pay print system from their personal computers while on campus. Follow these instructions to add the printers to your Windows computer with Mobility Print:

Open your web browser and go the following URL: prt-pay.ad.bcit.ca:9163/setup
Click on the Download button.
When the download has completed, run the down installer to begin the installation.
Click Yes to allow the Mobility Print Setup to run, choose your preferred language and accept the EULA (License Agreement) to continue the installation.
Select the printer(s) you want to add to your computer.

Enter your usual BCIT login credentials (your @my.bcit.ca email address and password).
The printer you just added will be available under Devices and Printers. It will be displayed with a (Mobility) suffix as in the example below:
