Accessing Wireless Pay Printing with Mobility Print for Android Devices

BCIT Students are able to connect and print to the BCIT pay print system from their personal phones and tablets while on campus. Follow these instructions to add the printers to your Android device:

1. Open your web browser and go to the following URL: prt-pay.ad.bcit.ca:9163/setup
   Note: You must go through the link above to download the app. Downloading the app directly from the Google Play store will not work.
2. Tap the Install or update button.
   
3. You will be directed to the Google Play store. Tap on Install to install the Mobility Print app.
   
4. When the installation has completed, open the app and allow notifications for the authentication prompt.
   The setup for the app is now complete. When you are ready to print, select your document,  choose the pay printer and release the print job at a print station as per usual.

The first time you print, you may be presented with the following:

1. A message about print jobs passing between servers. This should only be displayed the first time you print. Tap OK to proceed.
2. A prompt to authenticate in your notifications. Tapping on this will bring you to the PaperCut authentication screen. Enter your usual BCIT login credentials (your @my.bcit.ca email address and password). If you check off Remember me at the bottom left of the screen, you can avoid future authentication prompts.
