You can access your BCIT email using a variety of apps and devices, depending on what works best for you.
In addition to using Outlook on your work computer, you can sign in through a web browser or set up your email on desktop and mobile apps.
The options below outline the supported ways to access your BCIT email. Those highlighted in bold are recommended by IT Services.
All platforms
- Outlook on the Web using any browser: webmail.bcit.ca
- Progressive Web App (PWA): Use the web version of Outlook like a desktop app (Microsoft Support)
Note: PWAs provide a faster, more reliable experience and can be installed on your device for a quick app-like access – without requiring a download. They also help ensure you’re using the most up-to-date version, as updates from Microsoft are applied automatically in the background. This makes access simple, consistent across devices, and well-suited for a variety of network conditions.
