Signing into Adobe on a BCIT Device as an Employee

It’s important to only enter bcit.ca as the username when attempting to login to an Adobe application. Instead entering your full [yourname@bcit.ca] email and a personal account password instead can cause problems and those problems can persist because of the way that your browsers remember those bad credentials with cookies.

With automatic validation, this should never happen. If you do get this message, perform the following steps.

1. Open a new, private/incognito window in your browser. This is to make your browser forget any remembered browser settings.
2. Go to www.adobe.com
3. Click on Sign in at the top right.
4. Type bcit.ca for the username.
5. Click on the password field and it should redirect you to the BCIT login page for authentication
6. Use your BCIT email address and normal password to log in. Keep the browser window open.
7. Launch your Adobe application (for example: Acrobat Pro DC).
8. It should automatically launch with no sign-in (you are signed in from the active website).
9. Close the website. Use the application; it should launch OK for 90 days.

You are attempting to access an application that you do not have access to (for example: you are licensed for Acrobat Pro DC only, but are trying to use Photoshop) or there is a problem with your account. Make a request through the Adobe Creative Cloud sections of the IT Service Catalogue (full-time and flexible learning students) or contact the ITS Service Desk.
